The Perfect Linen Bathrobe
The bath ritual is an important self-care habit, so it’s important to do it right. A soft cotton towel, a luxe linen bathrobe and maybe a few scented candles are essentials. At Eadie Lifestyle, we have everything you need for an indulgent bath time, so explore our range, fill the tub and prepare to relax.
How To Fold Towels In A Linen Closet?
Here’s a tip: rolled towels take up less space than folded ones. To maximise space in your linen closet (or bathroom cabinet, wardrobe or wherever you store your towels) fold your towels in half lengthways, then roll them up and stack them on your shelves. It helps to arrange your bath linen products in order of size – store your largest towels at the bottom of the stack and your washcloths at the top of the stack. This will keep your pile stable.
How To Display Towels Decoratively?
You can use the same rolling method to display your bath linen products decoratively on open shelves in the bathroom or, in the case of hand towels, beside the sink. Stack your rolled towels into a pyramid, as if you were in a luxe spa. You’ll want to create different pyramids for different sized towels and wash cloths.
Alternatively, roll your towels and stack them on their edge inside a decorative storage basket in the corner of the bathroom.
How Often Should You Wash Your Towels?
You should wash a cotton towel once a week at a bare minimum, but ideally every two or three days. A regular laundry cycle with detergent should be sufficient to get them clean, but hot water will go a long way towards killing any germs on the fabric.
You may want to consider replacing towels every two or three years, too. As towel fibres break down, they’ll be less efficient at drying you, so maybe it’s time to tread yourself to a new cotton towel (and a nice linen robe while you’re at it). Explore the great range at Eadie Lifestyle today.
