Wholesale Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Wholesale Sales Executive will assist our Head of Sales in overseeing the daily management of our small sales team, driving sales, exceeding revenue targets, and cultivating relationships with our valued customers. They will also identify geographical gaps in our customer base and target new retailers in those areas. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in strategic sales and possess exceptional leadership and analytical skills.


  • Lead and manage a small sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Develop strategies to drive sales growth, exceeding revenue targets on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction through exemplary service.
  • Identify geographical gaps in our customer base and develop plans to target new retailers in those areas.
  • Analyse customers' year-on-year spending patterns and devise strategies to increase their spend through creative thinking and value-added offers.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities for growth and report to Head of Sales.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to introduce new and exciting sales initiatives.
  • Identify individual market performance and develop state-specific strategies to ensure consistent growth.
  • Regularly monitor team performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance gaps.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry, market, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the management team on a monthly basis.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, networking with potential customers and partners.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in sales and business development.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Travel interstate as required to meet customers, attend meetings, and network with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support the recruitment and training of sales team members, facilitating their professional development.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Sales on team performance, market trends, and potential areas for improvement.
