Welcome to the summer '24
Tallows Inspiration
This season, Eadie explores the concept of what it means to come back to self.
Eadie has been curiously exploring and travelling the world for 10 years now. This season she is driven by a desire to simplify life, slow down and connect with self. Understanding there is no better way to find one's essence than to immerse oneself in nature, Eadie is drawn to return home.
Our new S24 Collection “Tallows” is inspired by the dichotomy of the Australian landscape - eucalypt leaves crackling beneath her feet, strolls through the shallow shorelines, a warm embrace with the setting rays and bell singing birds amidst the palm trees.
The hero colours of the season, natural, ochre, green & blue, marry the colours of the land & ocean and embody the calm yet invigorating shades of summer.
Exquisite textures and
exceptional fabrics weave their magic throughout this collection. You’ll discover boucle with the softest hand worked fringing, exquisite yarn dyed
linens, and a jacquard that evokes the mesmerising effect of scales glistening
and reflecting light underwater. The hand loomed cotton with intricate hand-embroidery inspired by the native Kangaroo Paw is also a
highlight. Some of our most loved designs are showcased in new season hues inspired by our wondrous landscape.
Our iconic linen loungewear has been expanded to include a soft, feminine blush colour way as well as two new Carter stripes we are sure you’ll adore.
We’ve also elevated our apparel offering this season with the most divine new range of resort wear styles. Crafted from a luxe gauze European linen that is incredibly soft to the touch and drapes beautifully across any silhouette.
This collection has been enlightening, empowering and comforting to create. We hope you take a little of this feeling with you each time you invite Eadie into your world too.
Eadie's Story
What does it mean to come back to self?
Eadie contemplated this as she inhaled the salty air and dipped her toe in the water’s edge. Returning home after so many years exploring the reaches of the globe, it was time to simplify her life and slow down for a moment.
It was the strong pull of nature - the rugged outback, the long stretches of serene coastline and the vast expanse of space that had been calling her. That incredible variety of flora and fauna found nowhere else on earth, that made Australians caretakers of such a unique heritage. Each step she took exploring the magnificent palette and texture of the Australian landscape bought her closer to her heart and truest self. She could feel the calm energy flowing inside her as she walked her spiritual home.
Eadie’s curiosity had always driven her yearning to explore, maintaining an almost childlike, carefree confidence and sense of self, worrying little what others thought of her.
Returning to self implies a sense of being lost, but Eadie was never lost. She was simply rediscovering a connection with nature, with self and with others. Eadie was stepping into her true self in a way she never had before. And with that she learnt what an empowering journey it is and what a comforting place to land.
