When you meet Rachel Bardsley you can’t help but be struck by her natural beauty and wonderful energy. Rachel epitomises everything we love here at Eadie with her adventurous spirit, inquisitive mind and effortless style. To celebrate the arrival of our new Denim Collection, we sat down with Rachel to find out more about our Brand Ambassador.
As a matter of fact, I'm just packing the car for a family trip in northern NSW. We're mixing it up with some luxury accommodation to kickstart the holiday, and then it's back to basics camping. It's not possible to pick a single place! I travelled the country by van in my 20s and really enjoyed parts of Western Australia and Far North Queensland. But we're spoilt for choice with many amazing destinations much closer to home, right here in NSW. We're a 'beachy' family, so usually stick to the coast and had a wonderful holiday in the Eurobodalla region before the bushfires. We look forward to returning and supporting the local community.

We love your Instagram account, it is always inspiring. Where do you draw your creativity from?
Glad you enjoy my account - it's really just a scrapbook of all my favourite photos, poems and quotes. I share some of my modelling work on there, too! I find nature to be an endless source of inspiration, and love nothing more than heading out on a bush walk, camera in hand. Some of my favourite poets were inspired by nature. You might have noticed I try to find the perfect poem to match one of my photographs. I also find inspiration in odd places - if you scroll back far enough you'll probably find photographs of abandoned shopping trolleys!

You look radiant, how do you stay healthy and centred?
Thank you! I've always had a pretty balanced approach to health, and don't deny myself treats. I love to start the day off with a fresh juice, that way if I end it with a wine, I don't feel so bad! I've replaced my usual sunrise walks with sleep-ins which feel so indulgent. My yoga routine has fallen by the wayside, but I make sure I move every day. Preferably a walk in the fresh air and sunshine, and my son loves to dance with me before bedtime, which is so therapeutic! And back to poetry -the right words can be incredibly powerful and healing. I'm focusing on keeping my mind healthy too, and begin each day with some mindful practice and meditation. Even if I'm not feeling so positive, I make a point of appreciating all I have to be grateful for.

You look stunning in both our Denim Baron Top and Loft Trench Coat. What do you love most about these pieces and how do you style them with your existing wardrobe staples?
Thank you! They're such stylish easy pieces to wear, and extremely versatile. I wear jeans a lot of the time, and the Baron Top is a perfect casual addition worn with boots or sneakers. I love the Loft Trench with a turtle neck, or a basic tee in warmer weather. Then I dress it up with a classic pant and crisp white shirt. It's a quality piece that will be enjoyed for many years, and it's so comfortable!
